Check-in time for all RV sites is 2 pm. If you arrive before 2 pm, your site may not be ready, but we will make efforts to accommodate you if possible. Please call prior to arriving to see if early check-in is possible.
Check-out time on the day of your departure is 12 noon.
WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER AN RV?
Our definition of an RV (Recreational Vehicle) is a self-contained camping unit designed for road travel that has two or more land-to-vehicle service connections (electric, water, sewer). This includes class A, B, and C motorhomes, custom motorcoaches, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers. Folding pop-up campers, truck campers, or tents are not permitted.
Note: RV’s and vehicles must be less than ten years old, kept in good working condition with NO LEAKS of any kind. We do make exceptions based on the condition of the RV. Please call the office before reserving to get your RV approved with a picture verification.
IS THERE TENT CAMPING AT THE RV RESORT?
Tent camping at the RV resort is not permitted.
DO RV RESORT GUESTS HAVE ACCESS TO MARGARITAVILLE AT LANIER ISLANDS AMENITIES?
Yes, access to LandShark Landing and the beaches are complimentary. Discount tickets to the seasonal attractions (Water Park and Snow Island) are available at the RV Resort office. Additional resort options available – golf, boat rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals, margarita & brunch cruises (fees apply).
DO YOU HAVE FULL HOOKUPS?
Yes, all sites have full hookups with 30-50-amp power, water, sewer, cable TV and WIFI.
IS THE RV RESORT PET-FRIENDLY?
Yes, we are pet friendly, and there are no additional fees for pets. Pets must always be attended to and leashed. You must clean up after your pet anywhere on the premises. Pets may be prohibited as necessary. Copy of current vaccinations must be kept on file in the office. No more than two pets allowed per campsite without prior approval.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED PER SITE?
We limit the number of people on each site to a maximum of 8, which includes your original party and any visitors you may have.
WHAT IS THE VISITOR POLICY?
Guests outside of your immediate family must check-in and register with the office if you do not accompany them.
WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR CHILDREN?
Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior at all times. Please supervise small children in showers and restrooms.
WHEN ARE QUIET HOURS?
Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
DO YOU ALLOW GOLF CARTS?
Golf carts are permitted; however, they may only be operated by a licensed adult, ages 18+, and must be insured for liability. Golf carts must have working lights (front and rear). Carts may only be driven on park roads.
We do offer golf cart rentals at the resort for your convenience.
WHAT IS THE VEHICLE POLICY?
All vehicles must display a valid parking permit. Only two vehicles permitted per site, vehicles must not block the road or adjacent sites.
WHAT FIRE PRECAUTIONS ARE IN PLACE?
Campfires are permitted in the fire pits only. Personal charcoal and propane grills are allowed. Do not place hot coals in the garbage. All fireworks are prohibited on resort property.
ARE FIREWOOD, PROPANE, AND ICE AVAILABLE?
Yes, firewood, propane, and ice are available for sale at the office/store.
ARE THERE ANY RESTROOM/SHOWERS RULES?
Due to the Board of Health Regulations, washing dishes or animals/pets is prohibited in the resort’s guest showers and bathrooms.
DO YOU HAVE GUEST LAUNDRY?
Yes, we have laundry for guests’ use.
HOW IS GARBAGE HANDLED?
Please place bagged garbage next to the lot number sign on your site for trash pick-up. Do not leave garbage bags out overnight, as this may encourage uninvited wildlife visitors.
WHAT ARE THE RV RESORT RATES?

In regard to washing your RV, only minor touch-ups may be completed on-site and only with prior management approval.
RV maintenance is typically not allowed on-site. If you must have your RV repaired on-site in order to continue your travel plans, this would have to receive prior management approval.
WHAT IS THE RV RESORT CANCELLATION POLICY?
Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to scheduled arrival. A $20 cancellation fee will be charged for any reservation cancelled. Cancellations between 14 days and 96 hours prior to check-in the deposit to book will turn into a camp credit that will expire 1 year from the original reservation date. Cancellations between 96 hours and check-in the deposit will not be refunded and the remaining balance for the reservation will be charged on the card on file.
